my sister had a 36 hour labour with her 1st chelsie. It was new years eve 91 at her home. she was in slow labour so while she had pains we walked to the nearest petrol garage 2gether to get some chocolate bourbon biscuits. every time she had a pain i wrote it down it drove her mad n i was scared so i just kept on writting and taking notes and eating bourbon buscuits. It drove her mad at midnight when the neighbours were banging sauce pans and cheering in the new year. She was at the window shouting SHUT UP DONT U NO IM IN LABOUR!!!! it was funny bless her but she didnt care. The next morning (not that id slept i was still hard at work taking notes and she came down the stairs and said EM my waters have broken. I phoned saundra and her and steve took her to hospital where she gave birth to chelsie jessi I was elated and i still remember it like it was last night. the next two years were full of chelsie and no one could spoil that no matter what they did. Because she was a new year baby she was in the local paper and reiceved a gift of mother care vouchers leisa thought it was the best, it was one of many happy times for us as sisters. The next birth two years later was even better on 1st september 93, We couldnt believe our luck. Leisa gave birth to Aaron her son he was 15 yesterday and he missed his mum so much my heart really went out to him. She went into hospital and left me in charge of her flat, chelsie was with her nan Saundra and i thought it would be a good idea to clean and decorate her flat for her when she came home. I bought balloons and banners and really got into the swing of it. Well it didnt all go to plan and i ended up breaking alot of things trying to help, she spent many years laughing at me i was only 15. The first thing that happened was that I broke a cup then it just went down hill. I broke the kitchen cupboard door then when i was hoovering i moved the sofa (to do a good job) and broke the bottle garden she had. There was glass everywhere so i moved the sofa the other way to hoover the mess and put the sofa through the fish tank!! well you can imagine how bad i felt, i thought she would go mad at me but she never. She forgave anyone anything and that was my sisters best and worst quality. When she got home with Aaron she didnt notice at first all the damage id done because i covered it all with balloons and banners but even when she did i dont remember her being angry for long. She was just like that and she saw the good I was doing before the bad id done. Thats just one of the things that stands out about her so much. She really didnt have the ability to hold a grudge against me ever, and she new i ment well. When Aaron came home it was such a happy day and i was soooo proud of my big sister. I was living with her at the time so i got to spend loads of time with her and her babies. I was just finishing school and those were proberbly the best years of my life back then. She made everyone happy and proud especially me. Leisa took so much pride in being a mum. It was the best thing she ever did and in the 16 years she mothered i was her show so much love to chelsie and aaron. There was nothing I ever saw my sister do that she enjoyed more in her whole life. We enjoyed many many things together: here are a few of my favs: * being a mum and helping her kids acheive thingsin there lives * eating bourbone buscuits when she ws pregnant with chelsie. * Crunching ice cubes when she was pregnant with Aaron. * Flicking peas! (she never grew out of it). * cleaning! she didnt ever stop she loved it and was always changing the furniture around * being girly! no one looked as good as my sis in pink. * fags! god help us if she didnt have a fag. And almighty god help us if she was giving up smoking. * laughing very hard with no sound till you got tears in your eyes and your stomach hurt so much you have to stop looking at each other and take some deap breaths! * Day dreaming! she had the best daydreams the ones all girls have. * her mates, her true freinds were named on one hand by herself one day,you all no who you are and she loved you all very much.
